Cancerfonden is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to increasing cancer survival rates and reducing the number of people affected by the disease. To achieve this, Cancerfonden continuously works on improving its digital services. Over the past six years of their digital journey, I have been part of Cancerfonden’s web content team, helping to develop their visual content to support their goals. As a film producer and photographer, my role was to create credible and engaging content that encouraged visitors to stay longer on their website while providing insight into research advancements and available treatments through the films I produced. However, we didn’t just produce videos—we also developed accessibility-adapted materials and created a content reuse structure, allowing Cancerfonden to utilize the material across print, digital, and other platforms. The website was nominated for the Publishing Prize in 2021 and won Silver in the category Best Information Site.
